A portfolio for artists

Your art deserves a real home

Easel sets you up with a clean portfolio site and a simple editor. Drag your photos in, write a little about yourself, hit publish. No code, no cost, and the site runs on hosting you own.

Two clicks and you're live. Your GitHub and Netlify accounts stay yours.

What you get

Built for showing your work

  • Drag your photos in

Upload your work right in the editor. Give a piece a title, set a price, mark it sold when it goes. No spreadsheets to keep up.

  • Your own Netlify, free

Your site lives on a Netlify account you own and control. Easel does the setup once, and after that it belongs to you.

  • Made to be seen

A clean, gallery-first layout that loads fast and looks right on a phone or a wide screen. Built on Astro.

  • No code, ever

You never see git, builds, or config files. Writing and publishing feels like any notes app you already use.

Questions

Good to know

Do I need GitHub?

You do, and it is free. GitHub is where your site files live, and Easel connects to it for you in one click, so you never have to learn how it works. No account yet? You can make one right there during setup.

What does it cost?

Nothing. Easel is free, and your site runs on the free tiers of GitHub and Netlify, which are more than enough for an artist portfolio. There is no Easel subscription and no card to enter.

Can I use my own custom domain?

Yes. Your site is a normal Netlify site, so you can point a domain you own at it whenever you like (your-name.com instead of the default address). It is optional, and you can add it later.

What happens to my site if I stop using Easel?

Your site keeps running. Easel only does the setup; it never holds your work. The GitHub repo and the Netlify site belong to you, so your portfolio stays up with or without us.
